Auckland (Waikumete) Cemetery is situated at the junction of Great North Road and Glenview Road, Glen Eden, on the western outskirts of Auckland. This is a large public cemetery with general areas set aside exclusively for service people, who died during the 1914-1918 and 1939-1945 Wars and veterans who have died since. There are 107 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-1918 war and 175 of the 1939-1945 war here. [16]
